Child and adolescent mental health problems are at a

point of crisis for our nation.

In the United States over the past 4 years diagnosable mental health disorders invchildren has increased from 14.6 million to 18.9 million, children’s emergency room visits for mental health challenges have risen by 31%, and suicide rates have escalated, tripling in children aged 10-14.

Mental health problems in young people are associated with outcomes such as suicide, substance use, inability to live independently, justice involvement, school dropout, economic hardship, and physical health problems.

Only two in five get treatment from a mental health worker with special training to work with children.

OUR GOAL: Raise funds to subsidize the cost of therapeutic services for children in need.

Together, we can make that happen!

You have nothing to lose, they have everything to gain.

The current state of mental health in our youth:

  • 2.7 million cope with severe major depression

  • 5.8 million experience persistent anxiety

  • 79% with mental health issues do NOT receive the help they need

  • 30% of teen girls consider suicide, up 60% from 10 years ago

  • 20% of teen girls experience sexual violence

  • Suicide remains the 2nd leading cause of death in youth

  • 1 in 6 youth reported making a suicide plan in the past year
